‎The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, met on Wednesday with the Algerian ambassador to Libya, Suleiman Shanin, on the occasion of the end of his term, praising the role he played in strengthening relations between the two countries.

Dbeibah stressed the joint cooperation between Libya and Algeria in various fields, wishing the ambassador success in his future endeavors, according to Hakomitna media platform.

In the meantime, the Algerian ambassador expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Government of National Unity for its cooperation during his term, stressing the depth of historical relations between the two brotherly countries, and Algeria's keenness to continue coordination and cooperation with Libya.

Algeria chose Abdel Karim Rkaibi as its new ambassador to Libya, after ambassador Suleiman Shanin held the position during the period from December 9, 2021 to January 20, 2025.
