Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, has confirmed his full support for the issue of the displaced persons to restore their rights, stressing that there is no justification for evicting people from their homes and confiscating their livelihoods, as he put it.
This came during a speech he delivered at the memorial service for Dr. Abdullah Al-Maqrihi, one of the most prominent displaced persons from Benghazi in 2014, where Dbeibah expressed his rejection of any pressure or compromises in this issue.
He further stressed that national reconciliation begins with redressing grievances and damage, noting that the continuation of injustice will not be a way to achieve national unity.
Dbeibah concluded his speech by emphasizing the importance of solidarity and loyalty to the nation's fighters, noting that their sacrifices constitute a heavy responsibility that we must all bear in order to build a nation in which justice and peace prevail, according to him.
