Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, has given instructions to complete the passenger terminal at Tripoli International Airport before the end of this year and carry out the accompanying works.
He also instructed to immediately start the maintenance of the airport airstrip in accordance with the approved international standards.
This came during his meeting with Minister of Transport, Mohamed Al-Shahoubi, head of the Civil Aviation Authority, Director of Transportation Projects Implementation Authority, and Director of Airports Authority.
The meeting followed up on the civil aviation plan in developing the air navigation system and efforts made to open new destinations and activate work at local airports to operate domestic flights to facilitate movement of citizens.
