Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah says that Libyans are looking forward to holding elections, but the lack of laws and constitutional rules remains an issue that needs to be solved.

Dbeibah stressed during a meeting with several members of the Constitution Drafting Assembly the need to make the draft available to the public and suggested printing and distributing the document.

He noted that the constitutional law remains a problem despite having a ready-made draft referred to the High National Elections Commission.

The Hakomitna platform quoted him as saying that he is "sure that many did not see the draft constitution, including the opponents."

The Government of National Unity (GNU) will support all efforts to hold elections, the PM said, emphasizing that the constitution remains a demand for all Libyans and a national entitlement to be achieved.
