Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah has received a letter from his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida.

Kishida’s letter was delivered on Tuesday by the Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister, who is also Director General of the Ministry's Africa and Middle East Department, Kansuke Nagaoka, according to our government's platform.

Dbeibah received the Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister, Kansuke Nagaoka, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Mangoush.

The media office of the government reported that the meeting with the Japanese delegation covered political and economic cooperation between the two countries, and emphasis were also made on opening the Japanese embassy in Tripoli during the second half of this year, following the stability witnessed by Libya.
