The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, said that the current stage requires the activation of mechanisms for bilateral cooperation and the removal of obstacles hindering shared interests between Libya and Tunisia—particularly in the economic and social spheres—in a way that reflects the political will of both countries, according to the “Hakomitna” platform.

This came during his meeting on Monday at the Prime Minister’s Office in Tripoli with Tunisian Minister of Vocational Training and Employment, Riadh Chaoued, and his accompanying delegation. The Tunisian minister delivered an oral message from President Kais Saied to Dbeibah, in which he expressed his country’s keenness to support stability in Libya, strengthen bilateral relations, and address any challenges that could impact their strength.

During the meeting, the Tunisian minister reaffirmed his country’s readiness to intensify cooperation with Libya across various fields, particularly in employment and labor, to serve mutual interests and strengthen ties between the two brotherly peoples.

Dbeibah welcomed the message from the Tunisian president, reaffirming the depth of relations between Libya and Tunisia, stressing the Libyan people’s support for their Tunisian brothers, and the importance of joint efforts to enhance bilateral relations in a way that promotes regional stability and progress.
