Key discussion points centred around harmonizing efforts for the upcoming Mediterranean Migration Forum scheduled for mid-July in Tripoli, with the active involvement of pertinent African and European nations.
The gathering reiterated its backing for the UN's initiatives in Libya to realize democratic elections within equitable laws. The assembly also welcomed the commencement of municipal elections and committed to providing governmental assistance and facilitation.
Moreover, the envoys commended the government's endeavours in tackling irregular migration and underscored the importance of robust European involvement in the forthcoming Tripoli forum to mitigate this challenge.
