Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh has emphasized the need to enhance the capabilities of the security and military forces to address potential threats, calling for increased cooperation among various relevant agencies.
In a meeting on Sunday with Major General Omar Bogdada, Commander of the Joint Operations Force, Dbeibeh discussed the latest developments in counter-terrorism efforts and ongoing measures to safeguard national security.
The Prime Minister also addressed the fight against human trafficking and migrant smuggling, urging continued coordination with relevant authorities to strengthen border security.
According to the PM's media office, Dbeibeh highlighted the importance of ongoing efforts to build up the state's security capabilities, ensuring the protection of citizens and defending Libya's sovereignty against all forms of threats.
