‎The Deputy Minister of Defense, Abdul Salam Al-Zoubi, warned that Khalifa Haftar's forces would violate the ceasefire in the southern region. This came in a letter addressed by Al-Zoubi to the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Minister of Defense Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, and the 5+5 Committee, on last Tuesday.

Al-Zoubi said Haftar's forces stormed the Sabha Military Zone and all its headquarters in the city of Ubari in the border sector affiliated with the Border Guards and vital targets in the city. He revealed that Haftar's forces vandalized and looted property and homes, including the home of the commander of the Sabha Military Zone and his brothers, stressing that the Ministry had taken a number of measures and procedures to prevent escalation.

A few days ago, Haftar's forces announced their control over the Tendi camp, which is under the control of the commander of the Sabha Military Zone, Ali Kanna, and is affiliated with the Presidential Council in the city of Ubari, southwest of Libya.

According to media sources loyal to Haftar, the camp was seized after a surprise raid, during which they were able to take control of the entire headquarters and confiscate all the equipment in the camp without any clashes.
