Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah attended Sunday the handover ceremony of the Third Ring Road project in Tripoli to a consortium of Egyptian companies after the completion of the preparation process that took place recently.

The project team from the consortium of Egyptian companies presented a video presentation showing the implementation steps of the project, explaining what has been accomplished, necessary amendments, the letters of credit, the submission of documents of insurance and the approval of the schedule, leading to the delivery of the site to start preparing for the start of work.

In the meantime, Dbeibah confirmed that the stage of opening the routes has been completed despite the difficulties, adding that on Sunday, another stage was launched, which is handing over the site for the kickoff of work, stressing that the consortium of Egyptian companies was selected for its experience in implementing these kinds of projects after getting familiar with a number of its similar projects.

The Director of the Transportation Projects Implementation Apparatus, Sami Al-Abesh, gave a presentation on the (Ajdabiya-Jalu) road project, which is 250 km long, and the (Ubari-Ghat) road, which is 360 km long, reviewing the steps and duration for completing the projects.
