The dignitaries and elders participating in the forum of dignitaries and elders, which was held on Wednesday in Tripoli under the auspices of the Presidential Council (PC), reaffirmed their absolute support for the Presidential Council's efforts to make the national reconciliation project successful.
They also commended the success of the recent municipal elections, which confirmed the desire of Libyans to achieve stability, stressing the need to invest in the success of the local elections by holding parliamentary and then presidential elections.
Meanwhile, representatives of civil society institutions stressed the need for the Presidential Council to continue to accomplish the national reconciliation file, and to emphasize the adoption of the transitional justice law, before the convening of the comprehensive national conference, holding parliamentary elections, a referendum on a permanent constitution, and electing a president to lead the country to safety.
