The Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan reiterated his country's support for the unity and stability in Libya as well as for holding elections based on a constitutional framework and consensual laws. 

High Council of State said its Head Khalid Al-Mishri met with Erdogan on Wednesday in Ankara and they discussed joint relations and the latest political developments in Libya. 

Turkish presidency said Erdogan met Al-Mishri on Wednesday but gave no details on the visit's agenda.

Al-Mishri arrived in Turkey last Tuesday and met with the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, who said Ankara was continuing its support for Libya to end the political deadlock and regain stability. He also met with the Turkish Defense Minister Halusi Akar wh reiterated Turkey's military support for Libya.
