The Libyan Ministry of Justice said families of some mass graves' victims in Tarhouna identified their relatives among the bodies discovered in the city after looking at the collected personal belongings recovered from the graves.

The Ministry said some families identified the bodies when they visited the personal belongings' room of the bodies found in mass graves at the Search and Judiciary Experience Center of the Forensics Department.

The personal belongings' collection was done by the Tarhouna mass graves committee in order to bear witness to the crimes against the innocent civilians and to help their families identify them.

On Saturday, four new bodies were recovered from a mass grave in Mashroa Al-Rabet in Tarhouna. The Search and Identification of Missing Persons Authority published photos of the mass grave and said it was working on other reports to unearth any new mass graves in the city.
