The Council for Sharia Research and Studies of the Libyan Dar Al Ifta has congratulated the Palestinian resistance movements for their victory over the Israeli occupying forces.

In a statement Saturday, the council indicated that this achievement is the fruit of the legal duty entrusted to Muslims by God, which is to combat the occupation in their countries, while that duty applies a fortiori when it comes to the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

"It is important to keep up the support for the Palestinians in their struggle against the Israeli occupiers by all means," the statement read.

The council underscored that all have a role in supporting their brothers in Palestine, each according to his station.

"The wealthy merchants can support financially, the activists through social media and by speaking up against the normalization and exposing the crimes committed against the Palestinians, while all could provide support by the (Duaa) praying to God, according to the statement.

It also called on citizens whose countries have relations with the occupying Israeli state to protest against their governments in support of the Palestinian cause.
