Libya's top religious body, the Fatwa House, has stressed the need to defeat ISIS, praising Sabratha revolutionaries' move against ISIS militants and their hideouts in the city.

In a statement on Monday, the Fatwa House extended condolences to the families of victims who were killed in the clashes against ISIS, which it described as the criminal organization.

It called on the revolutionaries to unite and discard their differences in the fight against ISIS.

"We remind you of the virtue of fighting these oppressors who wreaked havoc in the land, accused Muslims of unbelief, and expropriated their blood and money." The statement reads.

Meanwhile, Sabratha revolutionaries confirmed on Sunday that their war against ISIS militants would continue until eradicating them all, as combing operations against ISIS fugitives go on in the city's outskirts.
