The Acting Foreign Minister Al-Taher Al-Baour discussed with the Palestinian Ambassador to Libya, Mohammed Rahhal, ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and the latest developments in the Gaza Strip.

This came during a meeting held at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Ministry explained that the meeting addressed the conditions of Palestinians residing in Libya and ways to facilitate their procedures and transactions, in implementation of the directives and decisions of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity.

During the meeting, Al-Baour affirmed Libya’s firm and supportive stance on the Palestinian cause, stressing Libya’s support for the Palestinian people until they obtain their legitimate rights.
