The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Salvation Government has condemned the Iranian assault on the Saudi Embassy in Tehran and its consulate in Mashhad.
In a statement on Monday, the ministry called on the Arab, Islamic countries and the international community to denounce that assault, saying it violates international conventions and treaties, particularly the Vienna Conventions on Diplomatic and Consular Relations.
"The Iranian authorities were acting outside of the international frameworks, norms, and conventions." The statement reads.
The statement also stressed the solidarity of the Salvation Government with Saudi Arabia in the face of Iran's deliberate escalation.
