Tripoli Court of Appeal accepted the appeal lodged by Gaddafi Secretary of the General People's Congress Mohammed Al-Zwai, former Head of People's Control Authority Husni Al-Wahaishi, former Chairman of Islamic Call Society Mohammed Al-Sharif and former Governor of Central Bank of Libya Abdul-Hafeed Al-Zalitni, to free them for health reasons.
9 others were among the released inmates who had been sentenced to prison terms ranging from 5 to 10 years and life imprisonment.
Hadbah Prsion Chief Khaled Al-Shareef signed the release order and handed over the inmates to their families. He expressed hope that the release would back the national reconciliation between Libyans.
