The mayor of Garda Al-Shatti, Hassan Matoug, urged the three Libyan governments and the humanitarian organizations in Libya to immediately assist the residents and to help out the families that were affected by the unidentified airstrikes.

Matoug said in a press statement that 20 persons were injured in the airstrikes that targeted Garda district a couple of days ago, adding that 10 houses were also damaged and the owners of the houses are still waiting for the assistance of the three Libyan rival governments in that regard.

The member of the Constitution Drafting Assembly, Mohammed Al-Agha, said he was shocked to see the negligence of the three governments toward the conditions of the people affected by the foreign airstrikes.

“Governments in any country in the world announce the state of emergency and deploy people to assist anyone affected by the least dangerous natural disaster, let alone an airstrikes targeting civilians inside a sovereign country.” He added.

Unidentified warplanes carried out airstrikes on some spots in Garda district leaving a number of deaths and injuries.
