The control of parliament compound in Rixos by the GNC has drawn mixed reactions from armed groups.

The Chamber of Libya’s Revolutionaries, a coalition of several armed brigades from all over the country, said it backs the return of GNC and its government to the political scene to repel attempts of reinstating dictatorship and tyranny in the country.

“We will follow the instructions of Salvation Government,” the Chamber said in a statement on Monday.

It called all brigades under the coalition to declare state of emergency to face any attacks.

Meanwhile, the Spokesperson of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos condemned the takeover of parliament building by the GNC.

In a press conference on Monday, Brigadier Mohammed Al-Ghasri said they would hit with an iron fist those who took over the building and undermined the political agreement.
