The Government of National Unity (GNU), headed by Abdul Hamid Dbeibah is to hold a meeting in the city of Benghazi in the coming days, according to the government's spokesman, Muhammad Hammouda.

"Dbeibah will visit Benghazi during the next few days to hold a cabinet meeting with all his ministers," Hammouda confirmed in a press statement.

He indicated that the government team will conduct several other visits to various areas as it considers this a priority issue on its programme of work.

The GNU spokesman noted that Dbeibah has stressed on many occasions the necessity of reaching out to all cities and that "any minister who cannot move around the country is not welcome in his government."
