A military delegation of Khalifa Haftar-led Dignity Operation visited Hun and Sokna towns to contain the tension after the killing of a young man from Jufra by Dignity Operation fighters.

The delegation included the Dignity Operation Public Prosecutor and its military police commander.

The delegation met with the man's family and reassured them that the crime was committed by an individual and he did not act on behalf of the armed forces, according to media sources, adding that the Public Prosecutor vowed to bring the perpetrator to justice.

The visit was part of the efforts by Haftar's forces and leadership to contain any upcoming crisis in Jufra amid the current disfavor and anger feelings of the residents following the violations done by Haftar's forces since they controlled the city after Benghazi Defense Brigades had pulled out from it.

The young man, Abdul Adeem Al-Atshan was killed days ago by a Dignity Operation fighter in Hun after a raid on one of the farms in the town.

Jufra city - particularly Hun town - has been residing on a very tense ground over the violations of Dignity Operation fighters, let alone the arrests (about over 10 were done on houses according to local sources) of many revolutionary fighters who were part of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos operation.
