The commander of the Saiqa Forces of Dignity Operation in eastern Libya, Brigadier General, Wanis Bukhamada, rejected Wednesday the resignation of Mahmoud Al-Werfalli - the notorious senior leader of Haftar's forces - who is accused of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity.

"Al-Werfalli is one of the sincere fighters who has given a lot in the battlefields for years." Bukhamada said, adding that Haftar's forces will never give up on their fighters who sacrificed their lives in what he described as "the war on terrorism."

Captain Mahmoud Al-Werfalli, resigned on Monday; two days after his rogue militia attacked a police station in Benghazi and killed on-duty officer - Mousa Al-Mijibri, not to mention being accused of violations and attacks as well as many crimes in Benghazi and surrounding areas.

The so-called general command of Haftar's forces had to send the issue of violations as well as the field executions to its Public Prosecutor after many local and international news outlets scandalized Haftar's forces and posted videos showing Al-Werfalli and others committing executions for opponents from Benghazi Shura Council without prosecutions.

Some horrible scenes in the videos showed Al-Werfalli and his gang of thugs exhuming tombs of anti-Dignity Operation fighters in the city and then hanging their bodies on the gates of their military camps, after mutilating them.

In addition, recent videos also showed Al-Werfalli executing an Algerian person at point blank, accusing him of being part of IS terror groups, without even allowing him a proper judicial hearing, but just basing his execution on his own collection of religious speeches that allow killing captives in cold blood.
