The President of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohamed Takala, has been briefed on a new proposal to establish a national youth forum aimed at promoting political engagement among young Libyans across the country.

The proposal was presented during a meeting with the President of the Rawafid Foundation for Rights and Development at the Council’s headquarters in Tripoli.

Also present at the meeting were Abdul Fattah Al-Haballous, head of the Council’s National Security Committee, Fawzia Karawan, Chair of the Committee on Freedoms and Human Rights, along with several representatives from the Al-Magariba Agency for Activities and Culture.

The Rawafid Foundation outlined its vision for the Libyan Youth Forum, an initiative designed to include young voices from the East, West, and South in national political discussions.

Officials described the proposal as a step toward empowering the next generation and fostering greater unity and civic participation in Libya's political future.
