Head of PC discusses with oil sector officials securing oil sites
The Head of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj, discussed the procedures for securing the oil sites, including the fields, ports, pipelines and HQs, and to ensure the continuation of the oil production and the export process in accordance with the applicable laws and mechanisms.
The meeting included the Chief of General Staff Abdul Rahman al-Taweel, the Head of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) Mustafa Sanallah and the Commander of the Petroleum Facilities Guard Brigadier Idris Boukhamada.
The attendance discussed addressing the impact of oil operations on the environment, with attention to the application of health and safety guidance and the treatment and disposal of waste.
They also stressed the need to provide the basic services to the oil regions through spatial development programs.
