A delegation from the High Council of State (HCS) arrived in Tobruk in eastern Libya to meet with the Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Aqila Saleh after two days of the statement of the Head of the HCS Khalid Al-Mishri, who said he sent a letter to Saleh telling him of sending a 30-member delegation.

First HCS Deputy Naji Mukhtar told reporters that he heads the delegation which includes three others members and will meet Saleh to talk about the crises in southern Libya on economic, military and security levels.

He also said that the HoR talked with the Presidential Council about the issues in south Libya, "yet there is nothing on the ground," especially that the absence of the government in there could lead to a humanitarian disaster.

Commenting on the is it, the HCS member Abdulkader Al-Huwaili said HCS Head Khalid Al-Mishri proposed an initiative to solve the crisis, which is different to the one proposed by Mukhtar.

"The delegation went to Tobruk to review southern issues and has nothing to do with Al-Mishri;s initiative." He added.

Likewise, HCS member Adel Omran said all measures are not serious as they solved no issues in Libya, saying Paris conference, elections, and economic reforms are time-wasting steps.

Omran told reporters that there should be a law for constitution referendum then Libyans can go to elections of legislative councils then presidential elections under a new permanent constitution.
