The Head of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sirraj, held a meeting on Monday with the Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha, Justice Minister Mohammed Abdelhamid, and the Head of the Investigation Bureau of the Attorney General's Office, Al-Siddiq Al-Sour as well as the UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame.

The media office of the Presidential Council reported that the meeting reviewed the security arrangements that had started in Tripoli, going over the methods of coordination among the apparatuses.

It added that they also discussed the measures taken with the aim to release inmates who have spent time in prison more than the legal terms allow, addressing also the issue of crowdedness in prisons, besides the needed security for judicial institutions.

The Presidential Council started implementing the security arrangements as per the Political Agreement in order to establish for unifying state institutions after the recent clashes on Tripoli.
