The High National Elections Commission (HNEC) has launched a comprehensive training program to prepare staff for the upcoming voter card distribution phase, part of the 2025 municipal council elections (second group of municipalities).
The program targets 3,220 staff members who will operate in 1,135 distribution centers across the designated municipalities.
Training is being overseen by 125 certified trainers from 17 regional electoral administration offices. These trainers had previously completed a specialized “Train the Trainers” initiative, designed to ensure high-quality and consistent training delivery.
Key components of the program include practical procedures for managing distribution centers, internal organization, effective communication with citizens, and the importance of maintaining neutrality and integrity during electoral processes.
This training initiative is a foundational step in ensuring the effectiveness, transparency, and professionalism of the upcoming electoral phase.
