Members of the House of Representatives (HoR), Yusuf Alfakhri, Salem Qanan, Abdulqader Yahya, and Asma Khawja, participated in the closing session of the 6th Legislative Period of the African Parliament.
The session revolved around presenting and deliberating draft resolutions, all of which were subsequently approved.
These encompassed resolutions on fostering adaptable educational systems to enhance access to comprehensive education in Africa, endorsing a model law for cooperatives in Africa, and reviewing the performance report of the African Parliament.
Moreover, recommendations were put forth, focusing on peace and security and augmenting the freedom of movement within the African continent.
The 3rd session of the 6th Legislative Period of the African Parliament, which drew to a close on Thursday, commenced on May 21 in Midrand, South Africa.
