Member of the House of Representatives (HoR) for the city of Murzuk, Mohammed Lino, has demanded the Chairman of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, to clarify his position on the violations committed by the so-called Dignity Operation forces in Murzuk, including the killings and mass graves, in addition to the looting, burning and the demolishing of houses.

"Is Sarraj sympathetic to those groups that committed such abuses in the city?" Lino questioned, during a press briefing on Sunday, "Or is there a high-level of international coordination to exterminate a certain component of existence? -in reference to the Tabu tribe- he added, expressing his surprise of the "shameful silence" of state officials and political leaders from all east and west regions.

He further noted that the HoR had denounced the New Zealand attack, while at the same time, it made no reactions or statements with respect to the violations committed in Murzuk.

Lino explained that the Sudanese or tribal militias could not have taken the city without Haftar's support, saying "if this is supposed to be the army and police, we will not accept it".
