Authorities loyal to renegade General Khalifa Haftar have received a shipment stuffed with a huge number of vehicles, armored vehicles, and ammunition heading to Haftar’s militias, security sources in Tobruk port unveiled.

The sources added that the shipment was on board of a Saudi steamship or one that is related to a Saudi Arabian company, pointing that the steamship was coming from countries that are allies to Haftar and that support his campaign against Islamists, according to the sources, which also clarified that the shipment was all taken to the supply camp in southern Tobruk.

It is worth mentioning that the UN Security Council unanimously approved last March a resolution that extends the embargo on exporting arms to Libya, which was originally agreed on back in 2011.
