The Minister of Interior Fathi Bashaga submitted information cards of a number of suspects in cases of premeditated murder, including those engaged in the attack on Tripoli, to the Attorney General Office and to the Foreign Ministry.

Bashaga requested the Foreign Ministry to transmit these cards urgently to Libya's UN mission, in order to be handed over to the sanctions committee on Libya, demanding the inclusion of the registered names to the list of international sanctions for violating domestic and international laws.

The list of suspects included the brothers Abdul Mohsen, Abdul Azim, and Mohammed Khalifa Al Shakaki, well known in Tarhouna city as the sons of Al-Kani family

The brothers took part in the war on Tripoli last year, and are fully engaged with Haftar's forces in the current fighting in southern Tripoli.

In a letter addressed to the acting Attorney General, Bashagha requested to initiate a criminal procedure against Mahmoud Hassan al-Misrati for his involvement in promoting and disseminating the terrorist ideology of ISIS.

He also referred to a previous phone call between al-Misrati and a senior figure of the so-called Dignity Operation, in which al-Misrati confirmed the relationship between the Dignity Operation and ISIS militias, as well as harnessing media potential to strengthen this relationship.
