Janzour Municipality and civil society institutions along with the city’s elders, Monday, falsified news reports about giving the so-called Tribes Army control of Janzour.
In a statement, they said the news is totally untrue and groundless, indicating that what really happened was communicating with Wirshiffana elders in an attempt to resolving the tangled problems under the supervision of Janzour Municipality’s reconciliation committee, which is the only one authorized to do so.
The statement also expressed honest desire for bringing the bloodshed to a halt and bridging the gap among all Libyans.
On Sunday, Dubai-based Alarabiya TV claimed that Janzour had decided to surrender the city to what it described the "Libyan Army."
