Militiaman Ibrahim Jodran, who seizes oil ports in central Libya, has ordered his armed groups to shut down Zuwetina port.

The militia group said the rival oil corporation in eastern Libya has completed all its procedures to start oil exportations and oil tankers must register first with the eastern oil corporation in ordered to be allowed to load oil.

The eastern government of Abdullah Al-Thanni aims to take control of oil sector, which is still under the main oil corporation in Tripoli, and divert oil revenues to its bank in Al-Bayda.

Zuwetina is the second largest oil port in Libya and it exports 500.000 bpd.
