The Jordanian Prime Minister, Bisher Al-Khasawneh, has affirmed his country’s support for Libya and its security, unity and stability.

This came during his meeting with the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, on Sunday at the Prime Minister's Office in Amman.

Both sides discussed global economic challenges and their repercussions on Arab countries, as well as a number of files of common interest, according to the Central Bank of Libya.

Al-Khasawneh stressed the importance of Libyan investments in Jordan, saying that Libyan investments have always been a living model for successful and sustainable investment, according to the Jordanian government.

Al-Kabir praised Jordan's stances towards the Libyan crisis, expressing his aspiration to benefit from Jordanian expertise, especially in the financial and banking fields.

He also stressed the continued keenness to encourage investment in Jordan, given its attractive environment, incentives and effective tools to protect investments.
