Militia groups of Khalifa Haftar in Benghazi have threatened to stage a relentless war against what they described the trusteeship government of Fayaz Sirraj.

"We reject the trusteeship government which is supported by the Zionist West and paves the way for colonialism," the militias said in a statement.

They made it very clear that their icon renegade General Khalifa Haftar and his military command are non-negotiable and that Tobruk Parliament is the only authority that can give the government approval.

They also called on their allies throughout Libya to stand against this government, warning of attacks on anyone against the so-called "Libyan Army," rogue General Khalifa Haftar's de facto armed militias.

"We demand the HoR to hand over power to Khalifa Haftar," the militias' statement reads.

The militias also threatened to repeat Benghazi scenario in Tripoli.

"We have people in Tripoli waiting for the zero-hour, we wanted to spare bloodshed in Tripoli, but you -Fayaz Sirraj- is going to cause it," one of the militias' leaders threatened.

"Any place for Fayaz Sirraj will be fully destroyed, let it be war," he added.
