Kikla resident injured due to mine explosion
A civilian from Kikla was injured due to a land mine explosion in the city center Tuesday, sources from the city have reported.
The wounded man was sent to hospital in the nearby city of Gharyan where he received treatment and left as his injury was minor.
Meanwhile, the Kikla Military Council urged the IDPs of the town not to rush back to their houses until all the land mines, which were planted by the Zintani armed groups during the last fight in the city, are removed.
Lately, an agreement was signed by Kikla and Zintan to end their conflict and the forced displacement that has been taking place for more than a year.
Kikla IDPs started to return to their town but in small numbers due to the massive destruction of the town caused by the Zintani occupiers.
