The Head of the UNSMIL Bernardino Leon Monday requested to meet security personnel from Tripoli as part of UNSMIL-sponsored dialogue tracks.

In an official letter to the GNC dialogue team, Leon asked the GNC to pick representatives from the security sector to meet them in Tripoli on Wednesday, one day before the news dialogue round in Skhirat.

The request comes days after the GNC protested Leon's personal initiatives to meet security and military officers from Tripoli without permission from dialogue team or the General Staff.
