The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation in the Government of National Unity, Ali Al-Abed, chaired the meeting of the Arab Labor Pioneers Selection Committee in the Arab Labor Organization.
This came on the sidelines of the 102nd session of the Organization's Board of Directors which was held in Cairo.
The meeting was attended by the Director-General of the Arab Labor Organization and members of the committee, where the attendees discussed the criteria and mechanisms for selecting prominent figures who will be honored during the 51st session of the Arab Labor Conference, in appreciation of their efforts in supporting and strengthening joint Arab action.
In his opening speech, the Minister stressed the need to represent the State of Palestine among the selected elites, within the framework of the ongoing support for the Palestinian Cause.
He also stressed the importance of honoring figures who contributed to developing work environments and enhancing cooperation between Arab countries.
