The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity has strongly condemned the attacks launched by Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip, which killed and injured hundreds of people.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the ministry reaffirmed that this assault by the occupation constitutes a blatant violation of international and humanitarian law and a clear breach of the ceasefire agreement.
The ministry also reiterated its firm rejection of these repeated attacks, calling for urgent measures to protect the Palestinian people and to hold those responsible for the ongoing crimes and violations accountable. It urged the international community and organizations to assume their responsibilities and take decisive steps to protect lives and holy sites from this aggression.
The ministry described these attacks as a continuation of the occupation’s policies based on killing, displacement, and the erasure of the Palestinian people’s legitimate rights.
Since Monday evening, Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out intense airstrikes on refugee camps in Gaza, killing and injuring hundreds, most of whom are children and women — a clear breach of the ceasefire agreement that the Israeli side had previously declared.
