The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity confirmed Libyan-Tunisian border demarcation file was fully resolved more than a decade ago, through a joint committee between the two countries, and since then it has become a stable and settled issue no longer subject to discussion or reconsideration.

The ministry commended the cooperation and coordination between the Libyan and Tunisian governments,, especially in areas that contribute to enhancing security and stability, strengthening joint trade and investment opportunities, as well as improving travel and transportation conditions for citizens between the two countries.

It also stressed the commitment of the two countries to intensify efforts to ensure further progress and joint development that benefits all levels in Libya.

This comes after Tunisian Defense Minister Khaled Al-Suhaili stressed that his country will not give up any inch of the national territory.
