The Minister of Youth, Fathallah Al-Zani, met on Tuesday, with the Indonesian Chargé d'Affairs in Libya, Mohammad Amar Ma’ruf, in the presence of the Undersecretary for Planning and Development, Randa Gharib, and the Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry.

The meeting, which is considered the first meeting with the head of a diplomatic mission from East Asian countries at the Ministry of Youth, came within the framework of opening the horizons for joint cooperation in the field of youth.

The Minister reviewed a number of initiatives launched by the Ministry within its action plan directed at youth, stressing the importance of strengthening youth relations between the two countries to exchange expertise and knowledge.

He also confirmed that the Ministry welcomes any cooperation that serves the youth according to the plan of the National Unity Government directed to the youth.

For his part, the Chargé d'Affairs expressed his happiness to get acquainted with the initiatives of the Ministry of Youth closely, stressing that his country is ready to cooperate in programs directed at youth and to strengthen the relationship between the youth of the two countries.

They agreed to enhance cooperation relationship between the youth of the two countries by implementing practical initiatives and establishing the Libyan-Indonesian Youth Friendship Association.
