He expressed the Italian municipalities' desire to work alongside the Libyan counterparts to help them grow and develop. "This is one of the most important conditions for achieving stability in Libya," he explains.

Meanwhile, spokesman for the Libyan Emerging Municipalities Authority, Miftah Hammadi, said that the goal of the Libyan municipalities is to move away from administrative centralization and build capacity to enhance independence.

He indicated that the large size of Libya prompted them to partner with the Italian Federation of Municipalities with the hope that cooperation would continue until achieving prosperity all over the country.

For his part, the Mayor of Tripoli Municipality, Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Khalifa, stressed the need for joint training programs between the municipalities of both countries, calling for maintaining cooperation over time.
