The National Centre for Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management has concluded the first phase of its national project, "Building Urban Capacities in Crisis and Disaster Management," in the city of Misrata.

As part of the initiative, officials unveiled the (Sa’ed) platform, a new system designed to enhance coordination and information management during emergencies. The platform is expected to accelerate response times and improve efficiency in crisis situations.

The event, held at the Libyan Iron and Steel Company’s administrative hall, brought together experts and stakeholders who underscored the importance of strengthening response systems and increasing institutional preparedness for future crises.

A live simulation exercise showcased emergency response scenarios, allowing trainees from various sectors to practice coordinated crisis management.

The Centre reaffirmed its commitment to expanding training programs aimed at boosting Libya’s emergency response capacity.
