The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation in the Government of National Unity, Ali Al-Abed, called for resuming consultations related to the memorandum of understanding to be signed with the Turkish Ministry of Labor and Social Security to enhance bilateral cooperation and develop relations in various fields. He said this memorandum would contribute to supporting common goals, according to what was published by the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation on its Facebook page.
Al-Abed's call came during his meeting on Wednesday at the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation in Tripoli, with the Turkish Ambassador to Libya. The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of labor and training between the two countries.
The Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation said that Al-Abed praised Turkey's positions in support of Libya's stability and stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between Libya and Turkey in the fields of labor, vocational and craft training, pointing out the need for effective coordination between the two ministries to facilitate the work of Turkish companies in implementing development projects adopted by the Government of National Unity.
