The National Meteorological Center has issued a weather forecast for Libya today, Friday, and for the next two days, indicating that moderate summer weather will continue in the north of the country, while temperature will be high in the south, with high relative humidity, especially in the coastal areas.
The weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, for Friday, 19 July 2024 as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear with some clouds appearing, with the possibility of fog appearing during the night and early morning in some coastal areas.
- Wind: Northwesterly to variable direction, moderate to light speed.
-Temperature: Ranges between (30-33°C) in coastal areas, and between (35-38°C) in the interior, and will record a slight increase during the next two days.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear with some clouds appearing, with the possibility of fog appearing during the night and early morning in some coastal areas.
- Wind: Moderate to active northwesterly speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (30-33°C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear.
- Wind: Moderate northeasterly to easterly speed.
- Temperature: Ranges between (39-43°C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear.
- Wind: North to northwesterly, light to moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranges between (39-41°C) and recording a decline as of this evening.
