The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected, the northeastern region to witness occasional rain, especially in the Gulf regions - Benghazi Plain and the Green Mountain, accompanied by thunderstorms at times, and they are moderate to good in some places, which could cause water to accumulate in low-lying areas. Clouds will increase tomorrow, Tuesday, in the region from Khums to Sirte, interspersed with light rain.
The National Center for Meteorology expected in its daily bulletin that the northern regions will be affected, starting from Thursday, by weather fluctuations accompanied by good rain, especially at the northwestern regions, while temperature will remain unchanged throughout the country.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Monday, December 02, 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds will increase tomorrow in the regions of Ras Jadir to Sirte, the Jafara Plain and the Nafusa Mountains, especially the coast extending from Khums to Sirte, interspersed with light rain.
- Wind: Westerly to northwesterly, moderate in speed on coastal areas, which may cause dust.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (16-21°C).
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: chance of occasional rain in the Gulf regions and Benghazi Plain until Emssad, and it will be moderate to good especially in the Gulf regions - Benghazi Plain and the Green Mountain accompanied by thunderstorms which caused water to accumulate in low places.
- Wind: Northwesterly moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranges between (16-21 °C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Some clouds appear in the regions of Jufra, Sabha, Ghat, Ghadames and Hamada.
- Winds: Variable in direction to northeasterly, light to moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (19-21 °C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Some clouds to appear over the area.
- Wind: Variable in direction to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (20-22 °C).
