The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected, the weather to remain unchanged today in most parts of the country, with daytime temperatures ranging between (14-20). Wind is relatively active today in some southern areas, causing dust and sand to rise at times.
The NCM expected in its daily bulletin that clouds will increase today in the area extending from Khums to Misrata, with the possibility of light rain. Clouds will also increase tomorrow in some areas of the Green Mountain, with scattered showers, while the southeastern regions will witness clouds increase tomorrow, with thunderstorms and scattered showers in Kufra and Tazerbo and neighbouring areas.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Monday, February 24, 2025, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Jafara Plain - Nafusa Mountain (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds will increase today in the areas of Ras Jadir to Sirte, the Jafara Plain and the Nafusa Mountains, especially in the area extending from Khums to Misrata, with the possibility of light rain.
- Wind: Southeasterly to easterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Temperature expected to range in most areas between (14-20°C) with a slight increase on Wednesday.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Partly cloudy, increasing tomorrow with light rain showers in some areas of the Green Mountain.
- Wind: Easterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranges between (14-19 °C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Partly cloudy, increasing today in Al-Jufra and Qatrun.
- Wind: Easterly to northeasterly, moderate to active in speed today, which may cause dust and sand to be stirred up.
- Temperature: Ranging between (17-22°C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazerbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Few clouds will appear in the areas of Oases, Sarir, Tazerbo and Kufra, and will increase tomorrow in the areas of Tazerbo and its surroundings and Kufra, interspersed with thunderstorms with scattered rain showers.
- Wind: Northeasterly, moderate to active in speed at times over Sarir, Tazerbo and Kufra, which may cause dust and sand to be stirred up.
- Temperature: Ranging between (17-20°C).
