The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected Today, the northwestern regions to witness a rise in temperature due to the effect of the hot air mass. temperature ranges between (34-38 °C) in the coastal areas, and between (40-44 °C) in the interior regions, and the effect of the hot air mass will decrease starting tomorrow in these areas, due to northern wind, and temperature will drop significantly with an increase in humidity.
The NCM expected in its daily bulletin that maximum temperature would remain within their seasonal averages today in the rest of the country’s region, ranging between (29-33 °C) in the northeastern regions with high humidity, and between (37-40 °C) in most of the central regions, and the south, an increase will be recorded tomorrow in the northeastern regions, then it will decrease on Wednesday.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, for Monday, July 1, 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear but clouds will increase at times tomorrow in some areas.
- Wind: Easterly and southeasterly moderate speeds, turning tomorrow to northerly and northwesterly moderate to active speed with an increase in humidity.
-Temperature: Ranges between (34-38 °C) in coastal areas, and between (40 – 44°C) in the interior. It will record a marked decrease starting tomorrow in most areas.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Few clouds over the Gulf regions and the Benghazi Plain up to Emsaad.
- Wind: Moderate to active northwesterly in coastal areas.
- Temperature: Ranges between (29-34°C) in most areas. They will increase tomorrow in most areas and then decline on Wednesday.
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear.
- Wind: Light to moderate northeasterly to easterly.
- Temperature: Ranges between (37-40°C), reaching (45°C) in Ghadames.
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear.
- Wind: Light to moderate northwesterly to northeasterly.
- Temperature: Ranges between (37-39°C).
