The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) expected most areas of the west of the country to witness moderate temperature during the day, with occasional cloud cover in some places in the north, accompanied by light rain in areas from the Green Mountain to the far eastern coast.
The National Center for Meteorology expected in its daily bulletin that the western areas of the country will be affected, starting from Wednesday, by a desert depression centered east of Algeria, accompanied by active wind that stirs up dust and dirt, with cloud cover in some places, sometimes accompanied by scattered rain.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Monday, March 03, 2025, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Jafara Plain - Nafusa Mountain (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Occasional clouds.
- Wind: Northerly to northeasterly, moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Temperature expected to range in most areas between (18-22°C).
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds will also increase from time to time over the Gulf region and the Benghazi Plain to Emssad with a chance of scattered rain over the areas extending from the Green Mountain to Emssad.
- Wind: Easterly to northeasterly, moderate to active in speed.
- Temperature: Ranges between (18-24 °C) expected to decrease tomorrow.
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Partly cloudy over the regions of Jufra, Sabha, Ghat, Ghadames and Hamada, increasing on Wednesday evening over Ghadames and Hamada.
- Wind: Northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (24-27°C), expected to gradually decrease from this evening in some areas.
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazerbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Partly cloudy, increasing tomorrow over Jaghbub.
- Wind: Southeasterly to variable in direction, with a speed between light and moderate, turning to northeasterly tomorrow.
- Temperature: Ranging between (23-30°C), expected to record a decrease tomorrow over the regions of the Oases, Sarir, Tazerbo and Kufra.
